18 Months of Yuki

It’s still hard to believe that Yuki is no longer a tiny baby, and is instead, well on her way into toddlerhood. Out of curiosity,  I compiled a list of words that were in her vocabulary before taking her to her 18 month check up. 65 words.  Holy. Crap. I’m not even sure when she learned a lot of these. It’s even more amazing to think that this list will only continue to grow.  One of the things that Yuki seems to not have outgrown yet is this persistent eczema that appears on her ankles and wrists. We’ve tried all sorts of remedies including:

  • coconut oil (made it worse)
  • Eucerin Eczema Cream (works better once the eczema is under control and needs to be applied frequently)
  • FAB Ultra Repair Cream (works relatively well,  but kind of pricey)
  • Steroid cream (we use this when her skin gets REALLY bad)

I’ve ordered a bottle of doTerra Lavender essential oil, and will try this next to see if we can get the flare ups under control.
