It’s still hard to believe that Yuki is no longer a tiny baby, and is instead, well on her way into toddlerhood. Out of curiosity, Â I compiled a list of words that were in her vocabulary before taking her to her 18 month check up. 65 words. Â Holy. Crap. I’m not even sure when she learned a lot of these. It’s even more amazing to think that this list will only continue to grow. Â One of the things that Yuki seems to not have outgrown yet is this persistent eczema that appears on her ankles and wrists. We’ve tried all sorts of remedies including:
- coconut oil (made it worse)
- Eucerin Eczema Cream (works better once the eczema is under control and needs to be applied frequently)
- FAB Ultra Repair Cream (works relatively well, Â but kind of pricey)
- Steroid cream (we use this when her skin gets REALLY bad)
I’ve ordered a bottle of doTerra Lavender essential oil, and will try this next to see if we can get the flare ups under control.
